A Day in the Life of Weight Watchers #5

I have been following the Weight Watchers plan for over a year and I am not bored of the plan yet. You get to eat varied food and you can still have all of your favourite things. For me Weight Watchers is about portion control and gaining a better understanding of you eating habits and what you can do to change them.

This is an example of what I ate yesterday on my day off. I wouldn't normally have such a big breakfast on a work day but I go to my Weight Watcher class on a Tuesday at 9am then come home and have breakfast much later than normal. Some of the combinations are a little odd but I don't like to waste food so I tried to use up all the leftovers in my fridge.

  1. Excellent, great to see what other people are eating on WW.

I work from home so it makes it super easy to keep track of my points, I make sure I have 26 a day and don't tend to use any of my extra weekly points but when I do it's generally because I've gone over on alcohol at the weekend.

I love the WW diet cause you can pretty much eat anything you like. For example if I want a big carby dinner or know I'm going out to eat I will just eat meals of fruit and veg the rest of the day or some rice crackers so I have plenty of points for dinner.

  2. That meringue dessert looks delicious!

I am absolutely loving WW after my first three weeks! I wouldn't even call it a diet cos I've found myself eating more than I ever did before, but it's all healthy stuff now rather than carby snacks that don't fill me up. I love how you're in control and can make allowances for drinking/meals out as long as you reign it in afterwards! It doesn't take over your life like other eating plans & diets may do.

How much weight have you lost in the last year? :)

    1. I love how flexible it is! I'm going to the pub this weekend and it really isn't a problem. I've lost 4 stone 7lbs since this time last year.

  4. Interesting. I really want to try WW one day. It's just money at the moment which is putting me off. What is the cheapest way to do it in the UK?

    1. I got to class and pay monthly. The first month is £12.99 and it then goes up to £19.99 but you have access to all the online facilities and the iphone app. Apparently you can sign up to quidco, sign up to Weight Watchers Online and get cash back so you only pay a few pounds for 3 months.

  7. I cannot decide if the pita looks the best or if dessert does. :-)

Weekends are still my hardest days even though I am home all week. I think it is because everyone else is home on weekends. I've resorted to eating large vegetable salads for lunch on weekends so that I can hit the evening meal a little heavier.
